KPESA Bargaining Update for 1-23-12

We met from 1 pm til 5:30 pm - most of the day was dedicated to discussion of the teacher's proposals.  About 5:20 pm the district presented  counter proposals for the following articles for discussion.

Article 11 Discipline & Discharge

Article 17 Payment Conditions

Article 18 Leaves and Benefits

Article 19 Holidays

Article 23 Unpaid Leave of Absence

Article 33 Career Development

A huge Thank You goes out to Natalie Kohler, Admin Assistant for Records and Elementary Curriculum, and Cathy Carrow for providing lunch for the bargaining team today and also to Tustumena Elementary for the HUGE Goodie Box!!!! 

Also, to Katie Carmody, Linnie Yoter, Mike Druce and Carla Jenness for stopping during the bargaining process to show your support to the team.
